For Stephen, developing the Organic Hemp Linen Collection has been years in the making.

Naturally, because of the quality and cost of the fabric, this collection is priced slightly higher than our other mattress ranges. However, because we manufacture every mattress ourselves and sell directly from our factory, you're still buying at a genuine factory-direct price. If you were to find a mattress made to this specification on the high street, you would almost certainly pay considerably more. I wanted the very best Organic Hemp Linen available, and I genuinely believe we've achieved that."

So What Mattress?
So now we come to one of the most important parts of choosing your mattress – pocket spring count and, equally importantly, the amount of natural fillings inside it.
Many people naturally focus on the number of pocket springs, and whilst this is important, it's only half the story. A mattress with thousands of pocket springs but very little natural upholstery simply won't provide the same luxurious feel as one with generous layers of organic wool, hemp or other natural fillings.
Let's take three examples from our 100% Organic Egyptian Cotton & GOTS Certified Organic Wool Collection.
Our 2000 Pocket Spring Mattress contains 500 GSM of organic wool, creating what we describe as a very comfortable mattress. It offers excellent support and is a fantastic introduction to sleeping on a truly organic mattress.
Moving up to our 3000 Pocket Spring Mattress, the filling increases dramatically to 1500 GSM of organic wool. This additional depth of natural upholstery transforms the feel of the mattress, creating what we class as an extremely comfortable sleeping experience. The extra wool provides greater cushioning, improved pressure relief and enhanced temperature regulation throughout the night.
Once you reach 6000 pocket springs and above, you enter the world of truly luxurious mattresses. These models contain around 2000 GSM of GOTS Certified Organic Wool, alongside significantly increased pocket spring support. The result is a mattress that gently moulds to your body whilst providing exceptional support, superb breathability and a sleeping experience that many of our customers describe as being similar to staying in a five-star luxury hotel.
The higher the pocket spring count, the more independently each spring can respond to your body's movements. This allows the mattress to contour more accurately to your shoulders, hips and lower back whilst reducing partner disturbance during the night. Combined with deeper layers of organic fillings, the comfort becomes noticeably more refined.
